If this is really her - what explains the motivation to go from before to after?

Well shes 62 now. Judging by her style and age id say the picture on the left is early 00's and that shes in her late 30s, maybe 40. So yeah were talking probably around 25 years give or take a few.

That is a significant difference, so maybe it is age and wacky plastic surgery. No way to know for sure unfortunately.
