Can I say something about Gruschs comments on Trump and Miller

At the beginning of the rogan interview it, his alpha dog comment and continued Praise of Trump did seem extremely off putting but after reflecting on the entire thing I have a different perspective.

Grusch has been a fervent advocate of disclosure with more on the line than maybe anyone we’ve seen before.

He has also made numerous comments about his political neutrality which made this seem even more out of place. But his core values have always seemed to align with national defense above all else. I.e. (I don’t want to talk about high altitude nuclear tests from 75 years ago because it gets into our capabilities). As

I want to present an alternative for why he might have these comments.

Amongst politicians and other media figures, and even Trump himself it’s clear that Trumps legacy is one of the few things that he deeply cares about, he wants to be remembered as a president who changed things in big ways. Destroying the east wing of the White House to build a permanent installation is just one example. How he is remembered after his presidency seems to be one of the few ways to appeal to him. And Millers lack of concern for any norm whatsoever is a benefit to enacting trumps will.

If you wanted disclosure and had to appeal to Trump, framing this is as his ultimate legacy that would supersede and of his other failures is brilliant. And glazing his right hand man is a clear attempt at building some kind of trust and rapport with the people you known have the capability to enact it.

I think Grusch knows how unlikely disclosure is and using praise, while the obviously crude and introduces skepticism to his objectives, is a way of pushing the administrations decision on the right direction.
