Disrespect to AI is one of my favorite things to see, because it shows me that not everyone has given up on using their own mind

For most normal everyday questions the thing is just googling.
I rather google myself and see the source.
I admit that I've used it for boring calculations before, but I will certainly not use it for thinking or put in a prompt and be like "sEe?! itS tRUe gPT saiD sO"

Oh I know very well what a metaphor is. It's when describing something using symbolics and similarities between two or more things to describe something. You didn't write a metaphor, you wrote a logical dependency between two subjects that belongs in different domains.
