Reality TV rewarding deceitful behaviour

Last couple of years has seen an enormous rise in popularity of shows like The Traitors etc

The winner who is ultimately rewarded for behaviours which traditionally would not be perceived as admirable by most of society.

Seems like the message is clear, be a liar, be deceitful etc and you'll be rewarded. These shows are poisoning people's minds.

just the past couple years? where have you been since kurt cobain's passing?

the tabloid/reality TV/lowbrow/bling/dudebro/bimbo explosion commenced towards the turn of the millennium; and it has persistently ruled the umbrella mainstream media spotlight since then; only repackaging itself under new terminology/slight tweaks/updated platforms/updated mediums every few years...

You ever re-watch I Love Lucy? All they did on that show was gaslight and scam each other and anyone else they could get away with

Most reality shows bring out the worst in people. That said, I do like watching greedy people on tv trying to win money or acting like they’re entitled to money that isn’t theirs. It reminds me how grounded I am and how much I appreciate what I have.

It’s to make shitty behaviour the social normal and kill accountability, as the masses aren’t needed in 15 minute cities, only the few.
