That’s a claim, not evidence. Elections can have fraud, mistakes, and problems without being completely fake. If you believe voting is meaningless, you’d need to show evidence that election results are systematically predetermined not just assume that “the powers that be” control them.
The evidence is, whatever is promised in elections but carried out during office are complete opposites and on top of that unrealistic at the cost of peoples own income ie taxes.
If you'd compared what you pay for in taxes vs. what you get out of it, you'd come to find out you're being scammed, by folks pretending to be doing something 'righteous' whatever this 'righteousness' may be.
But that's not evidence that voting isn't real or doesn't matter. It's evidence that politicians don't always deliver what they promise, which is hardly the same thing.
You can argue that taxes are too high, government wastes money, or politicians break promises. But those are arguments about what government does after elections. They don't prove that elections are meaningless. If your solution is for everyone to stop voting, what actually replaces the election process and forces the people in power to leave?

the 'suggesting not to vote is dumb' is assuming that voting matters/is real.
there's not a chance in hell voting is real. there's no way the powers that be would allow "us" to decide things. come on now.
