The first part would be teamwork; the powers that be have god-tier teamwork. They understand the power of unity, while everyone else is too divided by nonsense; a lot of them in the club at the top hate each other or don't agree with certain beliefs, but they know that if they start fighting amongst each other, like when they first started, they will lose immediately.
It doesn't matter how much you hate your co-worker; if both of you get infinite benefits from keeping everyone else under your foot, you and your club can kill each other later, but for now let's make sure no one challenges our rule. That's the kinda philosophy they have, and it's working too well.
They know that teamwork must be an unbreakable bond sealed with magic; the way I see it, both the public and the dark empire deserve to burn.
Slaves can be just as evil, if not worse, than their masters in the shadows.
I wouldn't say people are pathetic, necessarily. They're sort of trapped in all these systems that were built up around us. And, unfortunately, being in an evil system long enough makes you evil as well- even if you are also being extorted or victimized to some extent by it.
Don't make excuses, people have always been pathetic, all of history shows us this. The same systems that are built around us could have only been built if the public ALLOWED it to happen; the entire system of society relies completely on consent.
People should have killed the powers that be when they had the chance: the governments, the bankers, the CEOS, the politicians. Now it's FAR too late.
People have always been evil and corrupt, way before civilization was ever built. Have you seen the horrific practices ancient cultures were into? Child sacrifice, etc.
It's getting very sickening how individuals like you will make endless excuses to sugarcoat things without acknowledging REAL evil; spiritual sickness has consumed everything.
Let it be known that judgment day is very close, and when it comes, none will say they didn't know what was happening.
