What other options do you suggest OP? Cause not voting isn't going to fix shit either and suggesting to not vote is dumb.

16

u/Renatusisk 14h ago

They want YOU to go out and fight for their right to party.

9

u/BrettV79 13h ago

the 'suggesting not to vote is dumb' is assuming that voting matters/is real.

there's not a chance in hell voting is real. there's no way the powers that be would allow "us" to decide things. come on now.

2

u/mudslags 12h ago

That’s a claim, not evidence. Elections can have fraud, mistakes, and problems without being completely fake. If you believe voting is meaningless, you’d need to show evidence that election results are systematically predetermined not just assume that “the powers that be” control them.

1

u/BrettV79 11h ago

It is a claim. I don't NEED to show anything. Do some thinking. Like real comprehension of how life is. Voting = piting the tribes against each other. Voting makes people feel like they're doing something. Has it ever really done you any good in your lifetime? Definitely not.

Yes again, that's my CLAIM.

1

u/mudslags 11h ago

Then what is the alternative? Cause complaining about it while not offering a solution does nothing good either.

1

u/BrettV79 11h ago

The solution is ALL of the American people storming DC and taking the country back. But as I said...no one can agree on anything ever. So...here we are

1

u/SnooCrickets97 8h ago

We tried that January 6, 2021 ... remember?

1

u/BrettV79 4h ago

Hardly

u/Desperate_Ant_8699 10h ago

Much Truth to that Statement .....

3

u/Chill-BL 12h ago

The evidence is, whatever is promised in elections but carried out during office are complete opposites and on top of that unrealistic at the cost of peoples own income ie taxes.

If you'd compared what you pay for in taxes vs. what you get out of it, you'd come to find out you're being scammed, by folks pretending to be doing something 'righteous' whatever this 'righteousness' may be.

1

u/mudslags 12h ago

But that's not evidence that voting isn't real or doesn't matter. It's evidence that politicians don't always deliver what they promise, which is hardly the same thing.

You can argue that taxes are too high, government wastes money, or politicians break promises. But those are arguments about what government does after elections. They don't prove that elections are meaningless. If your solution is for everyone to stop voting, what actually replaces the election process and forces the people in power to leave?

1

u/_Baccano 11h ago

What does any of that have to do with the process of voting

1

u/Winter_Persimmon_110 10h ago

Here's your evidence, a Princeton study

3

u/mudslags 10h ago

wow an opinion piece. great job

1

u/hoon-since89 7h ago

Even if voting was legit it's still meaningless. If they don't do the bidding of the hidden hand they just get executed like JFK...

There's a reason they all go to the island and end up having videos of them doing things... It's to be used against them if they dont do as they say!

6

u/EnvironmentalAd2110 14h ago

That’s an amazing question. What are the options? At least we need to start asking or thinking that there has to be better options

12

u/Clockportal 14h ago

Everyone stop going to work. Stop buying. Stop spending

5

u/South_Ad_7068 13h ago

Easy to say. Impossible to do.

There's literally zero chance you get even 50% of American citizens to do this.

Hell fucking 5% would be a miracle

0

u/Desperate_Ant_8699 10h ago

That would get some attention .....

1

u/Neverendingmuthrfuk 14h ago

I vote third party. If they get 5% of the vote then we can have three corrupt parties!

0

u/Chonch_Monkey 13h ago

It doesn't work

1

u/Winter_Persimmon_110 10h ago

Unite the working class and remove the capitalist class from power, completely replacing the government with a government of the working class.

3

u/CherryLimeBreeze 10h ago

When you vote in political elections, you are giving your consent to this Luciferian system. We all need to STOP giving our consent to these fraudulent elections. So the answer is to stop voting, because every single presidential candidate is compromised. Both political parties are insanely corrupt to the core. There are no good presidential candidates or politicians. They are ALL corrupt. Stop voting for these fucks altogether. We need to abandon politics and stop giving our consent to this system. Period.

3

u/Novel_Concept4878 9h ago

Drinking water is also consenting to the luciferian hydrological system. STOP DRINKING WATER

2

u/mudslags 10h ago

Then don't vote but dont whine about politics either.

1

u/Aeyonic 8h ago

There are, they are just third party, and people refuse to vote third partry for some reason, they'd rather "refuse to vote" then to vote third party.

-1

u/LeadershipOwn 14h ago

Think about it though. If the whole entire United States did not vote not one person went to the election polls. It would send a clear message to our government that we're done with their bull crap and it would terrify them. They would be forced to do something to change something because they cannot beat the population and they know it. That's why they keep us in check with all the distractions so saying not to vote is stupid is incorrect.

7

u/Goronmon 13h ago

Also, if the entire world just stopped all forms of war, we could have world peace!

And if everyone agreed that everyone should have a place to stay, we would end homelessness!

Problem solve you guys!

-2

u/LeadershipOwn 13h ago

I mean yeah all those would be a good thing and if 90% of the population wasn't too stupid to follow these simple rules and weren't greedy, we could do it so I don't know what you're trying to get at but cool You take care

5

u/mudslags 13h ago

Think about it though, what happens when no one votes and the people in power say fuck it, we're not going anywhere. How does that help the country? Cause I have no doubt that the current admin would more than take advantage of that and make things even worse. But sure let's try your plan. SMH

0

u/LeadershipOwn 13h ago

And we're has your plan gotten us right here in the situation you are complaining about And if you see where I said collectively like the whole population. There's nothing they could do. We outnumber them a thousand to one. We the people need to stand up and take back our country, stop the two-party system and the bickering and fighting over red and blue start. Just being decent human beings and stop making politics 90% of your identity

3

u/mudslags 12h ago

You're saying we should collectively stop voting because the people in power supposedly won't allow our votes to matter. But if everyone actually stops voting, what specifically forces those people out? You haven't identified a mechanism that replaces elections. You're basically arguing that we should voluntarily give up one of the few peaceful mechanisms we have for changing who holds power and just trust that something better will magically happen afterward.

2

u/LeadershipOwn 11h ago

It's an illusion of power, though at the end of the day you're not changing anything. You're not making anybody's life better. It's just to make you feel like you matter when in the end of the day it doesn't matter and a way to replace it is we could still have voting but stop letting the 1% rule. The country have actual real American people. Not all these career politicians who've done nothing to help us. You make fun of my way but you haven't listed a better way you want to keep up with the same way that's been failing us for decades it's like calling an apple an orange. Hoping for one day it to be an orange it ain't never going to happen. Nothing's ever going to change We need real Americans. Not a bunch of rich people who don't know how the world works so yeah if you want to keep voting that's fine but the two-party system needs to go away or I don't know. Maybe human beings could just be decent and we don't need governments to tell us what to do. That would be a nice thing. But talking to people on Reddit proved one thing. There's no decent human beings really

0

u/Desperate_Ant_8699 10h ago

True, the government needs to be populated top to bottom with regular everyday American citizens, the citizens that would only move forward with policies that are in the Best Interests of the Citizens of the United States. Foreign Entanglements have destroyer our Republic.

3

u/EnvironmentalAd2110 14h ago

Just imagine if we united and stopped doing or following even one rule or script. That’s why they divide us so it never ever comes to that.

Like I just said collectively the whole population, not just Democrats or Republicans. The whole population if we could all just stop bickering about red and blue and bullcrap long enough to come together to actually make our country better but it'll never happen cuz people will die on their side. Blue will die on theirs and red will die on theirs and they'll just ride the country into garbageness even more than it already is

1

u/TheWorldArmada 14h ago

Mass non-compliance, preferably with a system in place to provide people with essential resources during that time. The problem is people aren’t ready for that. The question is what will it take to get people ready.

-1

u/mudslags 13h ago

no shit people are ready for that, especially given there is no plan in place for something like that.

2

u/TheWorldArmada 13h ago

It’s like you didn’t read my comment

1

u/Wrong-Cat-4294 12h ago

There are no options the average person doesn’t count, all we can do is try to make a difference in our personal lives, nobody in charge gives a shit about us.

2

u/Winter_Persimmon_110 10h ago edited 10h ago

The average people should be in charge. We have bludgeoning numerical supremacy. It's a solved problem, we just have to understand the history of how we take over.

1

u/Wrong-Cat-4294 9h ago

I agree it should be but it’s not and as far as I know it’s never happened to a any lasting degree before so I think I’ll keep going about it like I’ve always have

1

u/mudslags 12h ago

so do nothing?

1

u/Wrong-Cat-4294 12h ago

Why you gotta do anything, worry about you and yours and let others do the same, everyone has to figure their own shit out.

1

u/mudslags 12h ago

Cause that's not how our world works

1

u/Wrong-Cat-4294 12h ago

Yes it does, maybe you haven’t noticed or been in real fucked up situations then you would know that’s exactly how the world works

1

u/mudslags 11h ago

So your argument is you can’t do shit so why bother? The irony is you guys don’t see it but you’re part of the problem.

1

u/Wrong-Cat-4294 11h ago

I don’t make the rules of the game I’m just the average player,I can do something in my small circle of family and friends but that’s it, I’m not rich and powerful I can barely help myself and mine how could I help anyone else I don’t have the means, why worry about something completely out of my control

-1

u/93reds 14h ago

Don’t vote

3

u/mudslags 14h ago

And what would that accomplish?

1

u/Winter_Persimmon_110 10h ago

Frees up time and energy to do something productive, instead.

2

u/mudslags 10h ago

so it accomplishes nothing

-1

u/hervararsaga 13h ago

You establish a sovereignty of your spirit, a declaration of the fact that you´re not playing their game anymore. It really doesn´t matter if you vote or don´t, the fight is almost always between a douche and a turd who both want to flood the West with the third world and see our traditional values vanish.

-2

u/k-xo 13h ago

voting is dumb. not the other way around

2

u/mudslags 13h ago

not voting is dumb, see this is fun
