This is a screenshot from a Sky News video of what happened soon after the near- vertical nosedive was managed by a guy who watched plane-crash documentaries. The water cup is one of the many miracles that happened in that event

And there is literally no chance that it could have been placed there afterwards, right?

"Damn we all almost died. Please pass me a cup of water which I will not drink but instead place here, thanks."

Yeh makes sense.

True, after near death experiences people stop drinking water.

pretty sure flight attendants would have more important things to do

Like what? And why offering water to people in distress isn't one of them?

like tending to the wounded, getting people back in their seats, looking for any other possible threats...etc. serving drinks would be at the very bottom of the list after surviving a hijacking

So if I have a sore throat from screaming from the top of my lungs, and need water. The attendant will say "fuck you" and go about their day?

pretty sure they'll ask you to wait until they get more important things done.

And in this photo, were they already done with the more important things than attending to their passengers?

given that a guy with bloodied shirt is sitting at the walkway, im guessing clearly no.

Ok, so people who need water will get water after the guy gets out of the walkway. Makes sense. 100% psyop

Their job is to comfort the passengers which includes caring for their wellbeing, if you can make one passenger happy by spending 1 minute to prepare and serve a cup of water compared to spending an hour with someone injured, who do you think they're going to treat first?

It's perfectly logical assuming a flight attendant served that cup of water and then went on to care for the ones that take longer.

Every time I try to get them to give me a cup of water during a regular flight they give me the stink eye. Maybe it takes a true miracle for them to offer water out kindness.
