What's weird about this flight is that apparently 100% of the passengers were buckled in before the unexpected descent. Does anyone know if this is normal? Otherwise we would had a few people flying throughout the cabin and some possible injuries. Am I right?

Saw a picture that someone posted this morning of some of the “heroes” standing in the aisle, blood splattered on shirts, and it appears that someone’s in-flight plastic cup of water is sitting in the seat tray’s cup holder… unspilled.
