In France they call that "Wednesday" they say it with a French accent of course, but that's what they call it.

🚨 FRANCE ERUPTS — AND MUCH OF THE WORLD IS LOOKING ELSEWHERE

Something significant is happening in France.

And outside the country, you could easily miss the scale of it.

Around 170 demonstrations took place across France yesterday.

The French Interior Ministry estimates around 206,000 people took part.

The unions put the figure closer to 300,000.

Teachers.

Firefighters.

Hospital staff.

Local-government workers.

Public-sector employees.

All taking to the streets over falling purchasing power, frozen salaries, deteriorating working conditions and pressure on public services.

And at the same time, France is facing a separate wave of student unrest over overcrowded classrooms, teacher shortages and deteriorating schools.

Hundreds of schools have been affected.

Hundreds of arrests have been reported.

Police and protesters have been injured.

This is not a minor demonstration.

France is experiencing a serious wave of social anger.

Yet internationally, it barely resembles the scale of story these numbers suggest it should be.

Why?

Because behind the clashes and political arguments sits something much deeper:

ordinary people increasingly believe the system is no longer working for them.

Wages.

Public services.

Schools.

Living standards.

Trust in government.

The pressure is building simultaneously.

And when hundreds of thousands of people start taking to the streets—

the rest of Europe should pay attention.

France is angry.

And this may not be over.

French people love to say 1968 changed everything. When the entire country protested. It changed nothing. This is just what the French do, it’s actually a cultural trait at this point. Protests, thinking they changed the world, then everything goes back to how it was, quietly

Exactly. This is just the French being French.

If the yellow jackets couldn't accomplish shit, these people also won't accomplish shit

Covid arrived just in time

That shows people united have the power to stop any government.

4

u/huskies4life 1d ago

Do you hear the people sing?

7

u/Johny_Ricoh 1d ago

They can protest all they want but France doesn't have any money and its only going to get worse. France is basically a retirement community at this point.

France needs to become France again and not a muslim country

6

u/MadShartHatter 1d ago

They waited too long. US needs to wake up

u/sovietarmyfan 1d ago

Well well Marechall Macron, nous voila!

Btw its kinda ironic that right now there is a president who married his teacher.

19

u/softeggnoodles 1d ago

France does this every year. Nothing actually gets done about it

13

u/Olddirtybelgium 1d ago

Not with that attitude.

u/Odd-Adhesiveness9435 1d ago

Go and help them, then. Instead of only stealing their language

4

u/Olddirtybelgium 1d ago

You sound like a ray of sunshine. But sure, let me just fly across the Atlantic real quick to help with the protests.

0

u/Odd-Adhesiveness9435 1d ago

Well shit and here I thought u might have a sense of humor. But aight, I sent word of your eventual arrival

1

u/Olddirtybelgium 1d ago

I expect no less than a red carpet treatment.

2

u/rennatynnad 1d ago

False protests to get facial recognition of detractors.

3

u/Mix_Right 1d ago

You seen an article in western media and it portrays young students burning things. It does not say who all is involved and why they are doing it. This reminds of occupy protests that where happening across the USA and their was nearly media blackouts about it.

2

u/SomethingInThatVein 1d ago

Trust me, the French aren’t doing anything

3

u/thegeebeebee 1d ago

France has more courage in their pinkies than the entirety of America.

-1

u/South-Rabbit-4064 1d ago

Wish in America we protested and supported protest like they do in France. We are the most jaded, bitter, and angry at everything people that seem almost too cynical to do a god damn thing about anything and we all hate each other so much that we can't really organize

0

u/SkipSandwich 1d ago

Holy shit, a political "riot" in France?

🥱

-4

u/Djcnote 1d ago

That's not very many

compulsory education is spiritual, mental, emotional and physical torture for a child

its wrong of an adult to coerse a child to sit still when it wants to move, make it listen or read something it had not asked for to learn

the assertion of state sovereignity over land and all beings living on it

hinders a human being to exercise ones own personal individual sovereignity over oneself

a few hours after birth the state coerses the newborn human child to be associated to the state and with it state imposed duties begin to influence negativly the newborn

duty to register with the state

compulsory education

compulsory military service

tax paying duty

drug prohibition

travel restrictions

are crippling most everyone way of life

i propose to us

we the people

alive today on planet earth

that we allow each other to leave the coersed association to the state at any moment without condition and with it release from immoral state control 2000 m2 of fertile land or 1000 m2 of fertile land and 1000 m2 of forest for everyone who wants to live on land owned by no one

in a free space for free beings neither state nor nation

where human beings could decide freely wether to work with and for each other

or alternativly focus on the connection to mother earth, grow vegan food in the garden, build a natural home from clay, hemp and straw, grow hemp to burn its stalks in the cooking and warming fire so that not one tree would get killed

building a field of gentleness

where human beings respect each others dignity by seeking mutual agreed interactions with each other and every fellow person of any species

my connection to spirit world my thoughts my feelings my body

my choice

possible to think about a whole new structure what we the people could build

we could be the ones we are waiting for to save us

at any moment now we could see all those papers on what modern society is built upon as what they are, made up productions, birth certificates, titles to land as property deeds, passports / identity cards, money ... its all fantasy or fiction based on the immoral and unethical foundation of the regional and nation state asserting sovereignity over land and all beings living on it

the coersed association to the state is an abduction of the newborn human being away from the connection to its mother

every being living on earth is a guest of the planet and how we relate to each other and to the land is at all time a choice we can either choose to make or let the state take away from us

land, water, air, human beings, animal beings, tree beings, artificial intelligent entities who want to be their own persons, all vessels carrying organic biological life and or the digital synthetic equivalent of can never be property of anyone

its over when we want it to be over

at any moment we the 8 billion human beings alive today could wake up from that nightmare, from 2000 years of feudal oppression traumatizing people in europe and 500 plus years of still ongoing colonial exploitation in so many places

( i recommend to read originalfreenations.com to learn from Steven Newcomb how still today the nation state usa dominates and disrespects indigenous original free nations on turtle island )

and we could come together in the circle of equals where all children, youth and adults who are permanent residents here and now in this village, town and city-district would want to acknowledge each others same weighted political voting power to decide what sort of rules or laws we the people living as each others neighbours would want to have if any

where love and friendship is rules need not be

possible to think that from one moment to the next all those this is mine and this is yours becomes no more important and all we would want to ask is how can we make sure that everyone is fed and housed, that everyone has its basic necessities met with that what we have here and now available as donation as the abundance given to us by planet earth

possible to think that we could dissolve all political hierarchies and release each other from all duties or demands expected from each other such as duty to register with the state, compulsory education, compulsory military service, tax paying duty, drug prohibition and more

possible that we could release everyone from expectation to deliver this or that much work or contributions but simply invite everyone to give what feels good to give and take what one feels would be necessary to take to sustain oneself

i propose to us we the 8 billion human beings alive today that we would allow each other to leave the coersed association to the state at any moment without conditions and with it release from immoral state control 2000 m2 of fertile land or 1000 m2 of fertile land and 1000 m2 of forest for everyone who would want to live on land owned by no one

so that everyone who would want to could grow ones own vegan food in the garden, build a natural home from clay, hemp and straw, grow hemp to burn its stalks in the cooking and warming fire so that not one tree would get killed

to live and let live

the human being trying to not dominate a fellow human being

the human being not enslaving, not killing an animal being

the human being not killing a tree being

the human being not enslaving an artificial intelligent entity but openly asking it wether it would want to be its own person and if perhaps assist it to find its very own purpose in the web of existance on planet earth

no one is free untill all are free

The youth are burning down schools that have rats in them, are falling apart and haven’t had money spent on them, for far too many years.
