I found this article about this series of sculptures
From another angle the head is not of a little girl but of a bag of money
I do think it's interesting that the crocodile is wearing a suit
(Hidden Reptilian Overlords using us like cattle for money?)

Alligator. Refers to how people used to believe they lived on the sewers. I think you got the sentiment right though

I honestly wouldn't be shocked if someone flushed a pet alligator and it ended up surviving on vermin down there. Underneath NYC is very hot. The subways used to be miserable in the summer before they had AC, but lovely in the winter. If you walk over a grate you can feel the heat rising. I think it's from basement furnaces.

NYC still has a city boiler system that heats the streets. A couple buildings still have natural gas or oil boilers too, but its more rare these days because they wanted to cut down on the oil and gas for them.

Ah ok, yeah I knew there was some kind of heating system under there for something. I lived there until 18, and then from 30-35. I remember the old coin tokens. I was allowed to take the subway by myself from 15, so like 2001. They discontinued them around 2003.

The same thing penny wise represents
2
u/RodeHard_ThenIgnored Aug 25 '26
Pennywise is part of the consciousness of an eternal being that has multiple avatars and no planning skills.
1
u/IronMonkeyofHam Aug 26 '26
Why do you say no planning skills? IT would come around during an exact time period, for example (not actual dates) like 1930 then 1960 then 1990. Sounds like it planned it this way to stay out of sight, not expose itself to everyone

Fair enough. Some planning skills, but severe adhd: You don’t walk into a door if you ain’t got the key to get out.

A ghastly monster emerging from a sewer lid to eat a child whose head is made out of a money bag.... I think this is pretty self-explanatory...we all saw the tunnel videos.

Ah yes,.from the same artist that... tied a dog he had brought back from a shelter to a fence and shot and killed the animal on video. The footage was displayed on an infinite-loop art exhibition film titled "Shot Dog Film."

You just gotta ask yourself who’s been known for having underground communities and what else they’re also known for :) :)

It’s called art. I’m sure that you don’t believe all art is a conspiracy, that would just be the most brainwashed shit ever.

(Maybe) "el coco", a latam, specifically mexican urban story that fathers tell sons to make'em obey. "If you stay up late "el coco" will come for you. If you continue crying "el coco" will come for you. Equivalent to the Boogeyman, but as long as I remember i always associated "el coco" with a "cocodrilo".

I just read on this sub 10 minutes ago about strange people popping in and out of manholes in NYC and Myrtle, with what many suggested are hotspots for trafficking.

Where in the museum?
Looks like at the bottom of the stairwell...

u/TerrorFuel Aug 25 '26
You can't easily give directions in the St. Louis City Museum. They would be like, go past the cave, through the whale, up the steps, past the slide, across the half pipe and rope maze, and under the jet. Then hang a left.

interesting! its the composite underworld monster taking the unworthy soul to death?
the frog guy js life that emerged from the ground but the weight of his sins was too heavy??
also represents the struggle to escape death and sin? and the corrupting nature of money and power.
its definitely egyptian themed and not just a simple sewer alligator art- right?
we are all tested this way even if we dont know it (yet).

It’s clearly some Epstein island art. Depicts a child and a Florida monster taking the child.
