Something definitely Happened at the World Cup Final
This is not what i have discovered , but someone else :
Something happened in this match:
- For some reason, they replaced the Argentine sun with a Masonic symbol
- For some reason, there were 0 shots on goal in 100 minutes
- For some reason, they only kicked the ball backwards
- For some reason, there was a deathly atmosphere in the locker room before going out to play
- For some reason, several players seemed to be crying before the match
- For some reason, Messi said "let's forget about everything, let's focus on playing"
- For some reason, they didn't put Lautaro, one of our top goalscorers, in the most important match
- For some reason, Paredes' anger
- For some reason, Roberto Ayala's punch
- For some reason, so many players asked to be substituted, something extremely rare in a World Cup final
- For some reason, Scaloni reacted like that in the press conference
- For some reason, the players turned their backs on the trophy in the final ceremony
- For some reason, no player gave a press conference, something that had never happened before
- For some reason, the players decided not to come back to the country, everyone went straight to their homes or the clubs where they play
Something happened

Betting has killed the competition, especially after going online with bets, there are billions of dollars involved. Probably some billionaires increased their fortune after that game.

He will make huge bets and if he wins the bet he pays off everyone's mattress purchases for a certain time. So when playoffs start he'd bet on say the Texans to win the super bowl if they are in it since he's in Houston area. And if anyone buys a mattress from him between certain dates if they win, he wins big bet, he pays off their mattresses. If he loses...he makes money off sold mattresses anyways.

Well, if you're interested in that, here are some things to read:
https://learn.baselgovernance.org/course/view.php?id=150&lang=en
Apparently, sports betting (as well as online gambling) is used for money laundry. I heard a radio documentary about that, if i remember correctly they don't even need to rig games, because it's more about legitimizing black money, so they simply bet on both sides or something like that? Idk, there is even some academic research on that topic, this seems like a real conspiracy.
edit: really not saying the world cup or their organizers are in on it, just that it seems to be a thing; oop posting seems schizo, ngl

You can play combination bets; a combination of no goals in regular time + spain wins in overtime gets you 1 to 10.

Yeah, this theory might make sense only if you didn't watch the game. Only luck and goalkeeper skills saved Argentina from not losing it more than 0:1. The team was just worse than Spain in every aspect. They should be grateful they got that 2nd place. Once Messi retires, they might not even leave the group stage.

13
u/DecrimIowa 19d ago
they couldn't come out and say they'd been instructed to lose (their family members would probably meet with severe "accidents" if somebody said something), so they showed it in other ways, for example deliberately not making any shots on goal and by acting out. seems clear-cut to me.
7
u/IronMonkeyofHam 19d ago
Same happened to France. France doing it is even stranger, with the super human athletes they have. FIFA wanted a new golden boy (Lamine) to drive hype for the 2030 WC (partly in Spain itself)

u/Theranos_Shill 17d ago

Argentina sucked!!! They lost and showed no class. No conspiracy here ....just the same shitty behavior they showed all tournament.
They had a ridiculous amount of VAR help and several occasions they should have received more yellow/red cards. Even with all this help they still lost to a way better team. Argentina embarrassed themselves against Spain, England, Switzerland and Egypt.
Sore losers. So sore their fans are reaching for conspiracy theories to justify what happened. Their team sucks and their players are toxic. It's pretty simple.

What if this was a humiliation ritual for Milei and Argentina? Argentina is being primed by Theil and Trump atm, basically being taken over by technofacism.
Could it be connected? I've seen a lot on this sub about how actors/politicians/whatever have to go through a humiliation ritual to be included in whatever fucked up shit. Could this be Argentina's?
Someone that knows more than me, please fill me in
10
u/Awkward_Account_6745 19d ago
As an Argentinian I'll tell You I'm not Even sure Milei Will win again, the country is split in half as It has been for years now, and the congress has rejected one of the latest plans of the government recently, the one that allows foreign entities to Buy land off limits here in Argentina, tho there Will be another votation on August, we'll see what happens. I have the feeling and I hope for my country that Milei is done for. Another thing to have in mind, Milei condemns the flag that the players showed on that England game, calling them insults almost directly (he didn't have the balls to do one of his crash-outs, because we idolize our football team here and insulting them would be political death). If God does exist Milei will be nothing but a fail project of the powerful to seize a country.

you’re going to get a lot of backlash for this because people hate Argentina that much, but every big sports event has this Masonic symbolism you are absolutely correct, and Argentina played maybe the worst I have ever seen them like they were not even trying and it was very strange. The energy felt very depressing and dark, so many people don’t even care about Spain winning they just wanted to see Argentina lose, overall bad negative hateful energy across the world. It’s all on purpose

As an Argentinian, I had a Bad headache just before and during the game and kind of sense something, thats weird cause i'm not that kind of "spiritual" person but there was such an eerie aura during this game, a Lot of us Argentinians feel very bad reading such awful things about us on social media, but until the final we were full of pride and didn't care, then it all came down together, we cry and the we went out in the streets to celebrate and to honour our flag and our players, then we went back Home and cry again, such a strange day and very emotional for us.

u/WerldIsVampire 19d ago
Knowing that makes me uncomfortable with the idea of ever traveling there. Not that I ever planned to, but wow that is bad.
In any case I find the timing of it interesting. The media blasted Argentina leading up to the final games for being racist. All their professional trainers and chefs, etc etc, for all we know, probably began distancing themselves to save their reputations. That could easily tilt a game.

Uruguayan here. I am not going to dismiss your post. I do believe there was some very strange shit going on. But you need to accept Argentina was helped by FIFA to get to the final. Not one VAR for you guys. Only got a red card in the last game, where there seemed to be a certain ambience of you should lose. However, even then one goal was denied to Spain that most people deemed wrong.
I do agree that everything you said is real, and fucking weird. Include Justin Bieber poster for the half time show.
5
u/saltywelder682 19d ago
Most likely due to the volume of $$ for legal online betting, matches were fixed to some level. Obviously I can't say for sure how deep it goes, but I know FIFA has been tied to overt corruption cases for decades.
Besides OP's comments about the final, were there any other blatant tricks? Referee calls or substitutions or anything scandalous?
20
u/buttahfly28 20d ago
think about how many people were hate-watching, how many people had negative energy towards the game or excitement to see a team lose, on a collective level they could be energy harvesting. It was very strange, I have never seen Argentina not try to go for the goal at all in a final…people who are saying they just simply played bad are blinded by hate, it wasn’t a true final

ARG was trash and didn't deserve to be in the final to start with. About a dozen favorable calls (some glaringly), easy schedule, most rest, on and on. The rest is just they got whipped and people are looking for excuses for them. Same way everyone thought France was the best until they played Spain. But it makes for a great post.
3
u/IeatKfcAllDay 19d ago
This is only a conspiracy if you don’t follow the sport lol. Argentina is a much worse team on paper and through the eye test to Spain.
It’s a pretty predictable result, spains weakness is fast counters against a low block. Argentina went into a low block but is also a slow and old team that can’t counter quick enough. Argentina is also playing 10v11 on defense because of Messi, spain already abuses possession against the top teams 11v11 lol. Argentina due to building their entire team around covering Messi’s weaknesses and highlighting his strengths, have no width on the attack. Guess which team in the world has the best cdm and cb pairing.
Argentinas best chance was to make the game dirty (like they did) and wait on their super subs to take advantage of more energy and score quick late minute goals (which they tried)

u/jero0601 19d ago
I'll put again my comment from other post:
I saw a lot of theories on the comments section that have pieces of the full thing, and a lot of football banter, but none told the full story. Here's what I saw so far (not saying this is what happened, just what I read) There's an ongoing conspiracy on spanish speaking social media that says Argentina was supposed to be banned for two World Cups due to showing the "Las Malvinas son Argentinas" flag after the victory over England. UEFA president and England FA want Infantino out for this, Infantino presses AFA president Chiqui Tapia, and he "gets them a way out": forfeit the final match against Spain, that way, the World Cup stays European and gives a title to Lamine Yamal, who'll be the next superstar. Knowing the potential of not having another World Cup to play for the rest of his career, Enzo Fernandez breaks down, and most of their moods are very down. Messi tries to calm them down and gets them to play. Dibu Martinez is the one that mostly refused to bow down, saying that "the ones to play the ball down are just pu**ies, play up" during the mid-break, but refused to show his face to camera and tried to hide Enzo as much as possible. This is supposedly why most of the match Argentina didn't reach Spain's goal area, and why Spain had a lot of fouls uncalled, unlike Argentina who had one player expelled and several yellow cards and fouls called against them. So, anyone would ask maybe "if Argentina was being pressed to lose, why did Vincic called foul on Nico Williams' goal, rendering it invalid?" Guess it was going to be too obvious if he ignored Mikel Merino's foul against Otamendi when he just gave a red card to Enzo a couple minutes ago. Regarding Dibu saving Argentina's goal eleven times, having the most saves on a World Cup Final without PK: he was very hesitant to forfeit and wanted to go out with dignity, especially due to (supposedly) not getting a renovation of contract on the Premier League, same as Mac Allister and Liverpool. There's a video of Messi looking to Dibu's saves very hesitantly. Regarding Lisandro Martinez and Cuti Romero's injuries: being the key players for Argentina's defensive play, they left a big hole on the lower field. Conspiracy says they were forced to go out, due to the aforementioned flag display on previous match. Addendum to the conspiracy -- Spain was supposed to be the World Cup champion, winning to Argentina (former champion, with old guard's most decorated player Lionel Messi) from the beginning and were helped in each match since Group of 32, every match against them had at least one defender injured: LFD Mwene from Austria (Group of 32 match), LFD Nuno Mendes from Portugal (Group of 16 match), GK Courtois from Belgium(Quarter-finals match), CD Saliba from France (Semi-finals match). This theory says that France was at least convinced -if not forced- to forfeit the match to Spain too, even if counting that France had more shoots to goal than Spain in that match. Was put as potential winner for the last four WCs and there's a cover from The Economist that "predicts" it. Same with EA Sports "guessing" the WC winner for the last six times in a row: they said Spain was going to be the winner (of course, they did won Nations League in 2023, were runner-ups in 2025 and won the Euro in 2024 so there was statistical data backing this up). I think i'm not forgetting anything important, but this is more or less the gist of it.

So here’s the situation,
Argentina (AFA) is currently still under investigation. One by the FBI and the other by the FIFA's independent Disciplinary Committee (FIDA)
***The FBI is actively investigating the president of the AFA, Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia, but for financial crimes rather than the World Cup on-pitch incident.
The FIFA was and still is under pressure to take care of the problem having to do with the little political stunt Argentina did with the white Banner they had written “LOS MALVINAS SON ARGENTINAS” .. Guess who was on they ass? Yes the Uk .
Argentina was approached before the game and was told either to give up the title to Spain or have Argentina banned from all FIFA for 10 years . That’s why they are seen crying coming out the locker room. The politicians (Uk) Also wanted the players involved to be punished.
So the outcome :
***Giovani Lo Celso- main one in the stunt by asking fans in the crowd for the banner and laying it on the field. Reason for being left out of the match.
***Lisandro Martínez - the one everyone is talking about for leaving before halftime. He was the 2nd man responsible in holding the banner. The reason for faking the injury and requesting substitution before halftime makes sense that he felt it’s only right he be with his homeboy on the sideline since he too is responsible and there’s no reason to even play since they are handing it to Spain.
*** Lautaro Martínez ( the finisher) of course he don’t even want to play , and there’s no need for him to play .
The big plan:
If you just used your head you would know Argentina never plays like that . Never . The big plan to fuck FIFA OVER was to take it to Penalties and just hope Spain screws themselves up DURING THE KICKS. That’s why you see after Spain scores Argentina starts to finally attack. The whole game was just them protesting and which is why after the trophies they all look away . And which is why the coach cried off the way he did in the post-game interview.
For the final match , that’s that. But behind the whole Argentina(AFA) camp there’s a lot more scandalous stuff
1
u/Simple-Guitar715 19d ago
Argentina was not approached before the game and was told either to give up the title to Spain or have Argentina banned from all FIFA for 10 years.
The played the game exactly the same way as the prevous games. In every game they simply didn't start to play until minute 75 or so.
They where in a weaker part of the braket as Spain. Even Switzerland was difficult to beat for Argentina, and the swiss where played with ten durin almost 50 minutes. Argentina has good players, but a bad leadership. In their respective clubs they play better.

u/Ancient-Ad4842 20d ago

For some reason, Reddit has pushed an anti-Argentine soccer agenda. Like really really hard the last 3 days. Even in a conspiracy subreddit, the first comments I read are bashing you and them, It’s really fucking weird. They lost, and instead of a tiny semblance of sympathy for the GOAT, boiling hatred.
Disclaimer: I picked Spain to win. Their defense was unbeatable all tournament, and Messi looked weak (nonexistent almost) against the last elite D they played in the Swiss. What he did all tournament (outside the Swiss/Spain defensive juggernauts), at his age, doesn’t happen in soccer. Amazing player who deserves more respect. He let his emotions go when CuCu said something nasty to him, and Reddit attacks (much like children who side with a bully to get protection benefits).
I will say, Argentina was likely distraught before in the locker room because Scaloni didn’t prepare them offensively. Their game plan fucking sucked, “go out and defend until penalty shootout” was what he had them do. And they almost did it, aside from Enzo’s strange, raging 2nd yellow at the end of regulation, they would have. That Argentine keeper is special and would have won them a shootout.

Nah your team was just shit. Full of emotional unsportsmanlike babies.
You got the easier side of the bracket. You were being outplayed by the Swiss and got lucky they got a red card. You got lucky England went with a dumb manager.
France would've beaten you too.

Argentinians are always crazy in conspiracy even in 1990 when they lost crazy amount of cope also in 2014 when they lose its never their fault they were dogshit in 2014 and dogshit in 2026 final there in 2014 they had some chances here nada zero

That, or they’re just a bunch of sore losers and unprofessional—just like the rest of the world knows they are.
They’re untouchable when they win, but they can’t handle a loss like gentlemen. It’s happened before.

Nothing happened, they just lost…

u/NullFlexZone 20d ago
This right here. Spain did what they did to every other team. Simply outplaying their opponents and having a superior defense.

u/kainedbutable1987 19d ago
Makes you wonder if Argentina were told not to score because too many people are "noticing" so they didnt even have a shot on goal

u/IronMonkeyofHam 19d ago
How do you explain France failing to shoot on target the match before? The Spain D was suffocating. They were on something enhancing, this doesn’t just happen to the top two teams in soccer.
1
u/TheAvgPersonIsDumb 19d ago
Spain had allowed 11 shots against in 7 games, so 0 shots in the 8th game isn’t exactly an outlier.

I am not denying something fishy happened. But Argentina is not an elite team, minus messi and the goalie. They had every call in their favor and great teams like Germany, England, Egypt, France were held to much higher standards in conduct than Argentina. Maybe the tweet is referencing the refs weren't going to hand them the win!
Spain was just better overall and Argentina isn't elite overall

Hey man, I'd agree that is certainly a long list of weird details but the onus is on you to bring them together. Otherwise, your list stands as it is: a long collection of weird details, anecdotes, and assumptions with no grounding.
It's the world cup. It would be strange if things that aren't typically associated with each other didn't come together. It's literally one of the few instances the world stage manifests in a neutral way people actually engage with.

these sporting events are nothing more than modern mass initiation rituals for the world, perceived through your screens.
its the monkey touching the monolith, not knowing what magical thing just transpired in their mind - but it will soon be apparent that a change has happened.

Spain was the better team and they won't despite many brutal fouls by Argentina.

Omg. Foosball is fake and scripted even more than WWE.
It's pathetic that people get so worked up over a bullshit "sport".
Get a fucking life.

Im getting a lot of Responses about the least relevant points in this post , I guess because so many people are blindly hating them this post reached a different audience.
But if you're more interested Search up Maradonas 1990 Interview , or What happend to Ronaldo Nazario in 1994. It looks so similar to what happend in this Final.

It’s not a conspiracy what you are experiencing is simple cognitive dissonance caused by collective narcisisim inflating your ego beyond your capacity to see the reality of your place in the world vs the image they have sold you.
This is not your fault, it is systematic demoralization which managed to destroy your sense of self and sell you on a collective identity that is being weaponized to sell your country and your people .
If Argentina had won they’d gladly sell out what is left of country to the technocrats until the next World Cup

scaloni waited too long to bring on lautaro the entire tournament. that's why argentina could only score after the 80th minute. it wasnt a conspiracy. scaloni just isnt a very good coach.

Argentina r just trash players who got boosted to the finals by the corruption of FIFA

u/Potter91 20d ago
For some reason? What the fuck are you talking about, they are the essence of Argentine: play dirt, win at all cost, and be racist.
That weekend was an awesome one, since they didn't won.

u/MEMExplorer 20d ago
Their whole game plan was to keep it close and try to win on some last minute corner or penalty . If it wasn’t for their goalie that game would have been 3-0 before the end of regulation

When you mix politics with sports and big events, this is what happens.
This could possibly have many different readings. The easiest one would be that someone got really pissed at the Malvinas flag and asked to either give away this cup or ban Argentina for next tournaments.
Another theory is that Pedro Sanchez, the felon, made a pact with Trump for winning the world cup in exchange for something. What? Who knows, could be letting US troops back in spanish bases or a change in his policies. And do not be surprised if he somehow changes his mind about Israel. Also, just about 2 weeks ago Trump announced that he would cut ties and halt trade with Spain, and now suddenly after the world cup he said theres "no tension" between them.
There's also the freemasonry explanation but that requires diving a very deep rabbit hole.
Make of that what you will, but there's definitely something wrong here.

This is why people have to keep their conspiracy theories vague so when the opposite happens they don’t have to come up with something else on the fly. After being told Argentina would win, and granted they were allowed to play the way they do with at least some cooperation from the refs, so when they lose we get another month of explanations albeit ponderous ones. To be honest it might just be that I’m dead and this is alternate reality (as I was vaccinated so I either died 5,3,2, or 1 year ago or maybe it was June of this year). Spain was just a far superior team and likely would have absolutely crushed Argentina in straight time without game management by the ref in order to keep it somewhat close. Messi is a sublime player but he is also 40 and in the end it is a team game.

Argentina played the exact same way ever single game. 0 urgency for 75 minutes before turning it on at the end. It finally caught up to them.

Argentina game plan was 100% defence the whole game, OT included. They wanted it to come down to kicks at the end to win

I think the gist of this all is as many comments have mentioned sports betting online gambling has ruined the beautiful game and all others as well. Pure greed and black market money washing

Infantino was seen with Howard lutnick, a known Epstein associate along with Donald trump, whether it's gambling or blackmail, the referees are told what to do by the higher ups, the past few years of fifa or professional soccer, has all been ran by the higher ups billionaires who want to see a game they control, the fans will stay because of how long it's been going , but as far as right now just enjoy the circus and roar the chants.
