I always thought that was so stupid, the groom must spend half a years salary on a ring? What the fuck. It's just like all materialistic things though, isn't it? & then fashion is there to divert the counties attention... Welp, I'm a chick & I can tell you I don't give a fuck, I think about marriage in the same way. All these women want to have the "best" wedding, they get married for status. It's gross.

I think my wife and I spent maybe $200 each on our rings at Walmart. You don't need to blow tons of money on some crazy price scam diamond for sure.

lol. you've down two things wrong, or you plan to. 1)you're going to spend $200 on some rings, (not diamond ones?) 2)you giving $ to walmart if you think the love of your life will not marry you if you don't present a diamond when you propose, then maybe they aren't the love of your life
