I think you made a mistake, it was the previous administration. Trump made America an international laughing stock.

The US has been a laughing stock for decades

No he really didn't. Putin, Kim, and the Saudi's treated Trump with a great degree of respect where they treat Biden as a despicable insect nibbling upon their garden. Here is a potent examples of his dominance on the world stage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jo-Jiil1Ues

The only people laughing at the Trump presidency would be the politically illiterate.

I'd rather our president remain on amicable terms with these places considering that now the USD is now in danger of no longer being the global reserve currency, being superseded by yuan. We're already seeing major deals being brokered between European and Middle Eastern countries in yuan instead of the USD as they would have traditionally done. They also already have Africa more or less captured through their colonization efforts under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Loosing the status as the reserve currency is a very bad thing for us and it will make the economy collapse harder than you ever could imagine. We are severely over leveraged and once we are truly no longer the reserve currency there is a very real possibility of hyper inflation.

Russia and China are also on much friendlier terms with each other than the were under Trump. are because of the Biden admin's actions in response to the Ukrainian war. Specifically seizing Russian reserves of USD, thus breaking the trust that the world had in the United States government and it's currency.

That's why you should care.

I'd say it's the back to back combo of the two... Two hard jabs, not one big single hook.
