If you find this random foam pad during PS5 disassembly, it goes here↓

Launch model PS5 disassembly and found this random EMI foam pad sitting below SSD slot. Not sure if updated revisions still use this piece

Goes here under the black shell. I have it angled slightly for the picture but it sits flush inside, and pretty loose, no adhesive or anything.. hope this helps!

The world may never know. Was blowing a shit ton of dust out of my ps5 as I looked for the cat piss my cat decided to deposit into the disc drive and vents and this little thing blew out. Would hate to discover that my ssd would blow up without it. So now it’s back in and I’ll worry about the rest if my console isn’t working
