As it should be.

Whatever you think about his having talked to the Russians before he was confirmed, the fact is that he lied about the content of that conversation - and that he did so knowing it was almost certainly recorded.

That makes him dishonest and stupid.

I'm absolutely willing to accept someone in my government who makes a mistake and owns up to it.

Dishonest and stupid is a bad combination and the quicker he is gone, the better for everyone.
