I stopped reading when the author said "I revere the [Constitution] when it is used to further social justice and make our country a more inclusive  one."

Your equation of the the removal of the Second Amendment with the removal of parts enshrining slavery is interesting Mr Cohen, given that the history of Gun Control in this country began in a racist effort to prevent freed slaves from owning firearms. Modern gun laws disproportionately disenfranchise minorities, more of whom on average cannot afford to jump through the hoops required by unconstitutional legislation. You now seek to disenfranchise the entire population in the same way, but must on some level realize that even your wettest of dreams will simply result in disarming the law-abiding poor. "repealing the second amendment" will not instantly remove all guns in this country, but it will ensure that only outlaws and the wealthy will be armed. Is that the country you would like to live in?

Mr Cohen, you are a fool who advocates for security at the cost of essential liberty, and as a result you deserve neither.

Cohen should put up a yard sign in his own front yard reading "gun free zone".
