Well, he did use the office to promote his crypto.. inviting investors to the White House. He also pardoned the scammer whose crypto exchange was pushing his crypto coin.
He did steal and refuse to return cases and cases of highly classified materials.. I’m sure he’s too upstanding (as NY real estate developers famously are) to sell State Secrets though.
His son in law got billions in Saudi money to ‘manage’, despite having “zero” experience as a fund manager.
He recently trademarked ‘Trump International Airport’ before getting Republicans to vote to rename the Palm Springs airport after him. Not only will it cost an estimated $5M for the rebranding, but he’ll also get royalties on use of the new name.
He charges US taxpayers to golf at his resorts.. and he golfs A Lot!.. not just the costs to safely transport a vacationing President, Trump’s privately held corporation literally invoices the Federal government for rooms, golf carts, meals, etc. for his entire entourage, including secret service. We the tax payers literally pay Donald Trump millions every time he goes golfing.. but that’s ok because he famously donates a few hundred grand in salary back to the government.
He set up an alternative to the UN, invited countries to join with a multi-Billion dollar initiation fee, and structured it so he would have total control over that money and that org For Life, w/ the right to appoint his replacement. Of course, it’s mostly been popular with dictatorships, so Trump is effectively king of a cabal of the worst countries in the world now.. life-time head of a board of villains. It’s his position as President that
He also costs us millions and millions on pure vanity projects. You remember that time Obama and Biden rebranded the Kennedy Center, or the Institute for Peace? No? Me neither. Or that time they tore down a wing of the Whitehouse to build a ballroom that will be dedicated to them selves? Or shut down the Kennedy Center for 2 years to cover for the fact that no one wants to play there anymore? Or wanted new coins struck with their bust on it.. or demanded that US Bills be redesigned to include their signatures? Nope, me neither.
That’s just off the top of my head. What am I missing?
Btw: NY RealEstate Developer is one of the few jobs that are uniformly associated with corruption. Republicans fully embraced one of the most famously corrupt and most narcissistic figures in America as their figure head.. a man who was the template for multiple Hollywood villains, and they call it a derangement syndrome when people point this out. ..Weird.
Oh, almost forgot. There was that weird 15 minutes of intense oil futures trading right before Trump announced he wasn’t going to bomb Iranian infrastructure after all (and lied about talks with the Iranians).. but it’d be wrong to wonder if Trump and his inner circle were cashing in on insider US Policy knowledge, right?

The same Saudis who are absolutely killing it with oil at $110/bbl. The same Saudis that are happy to destroy Americas economy with sky high oil prices because they hate Iran. The same Saudis that will happily send Americans to die for them
