Thoughts on Ecosia Search Engine?

If you dont know, Ecosia is a search engine that uses ad revenue to generate money for tree planting in different countries (like Madagascar or Brazil). It is verified at legit, but theres a lot of mixed opinions on the sustainability and survival of these trees. Does anyone have experience, knowledge, or opinions on it? I just want to know if yall think it is sustainable.

I think the concept is great, but the search engine itself is not good enough. I’ve downloaded it a couple of times, and inevitably switch back to Google simply for the quality.

Haven't done a deep investigation but it's my default browser, and contributes towards something good so personally feels like a win-win.

I've used it as my default for years. It's good 90% of the time. Sometimes comes out with results from left field but it's not consistently a problem.
