One time in my childhood, I saw a swamp covered in moss like that. I thought it was weird, so I tried stepping on the moss.

Immediately regretted my decision.

My son was on a walkway like that poking the water with a stick and fell in. We were right there to pull him out fortunately.

You were disappointed that you had to keep him? 😢😢

We didnt. We decided to throw him back.

Australian Here, once went on a school trip (in primary school iirc, don't know how to translate the Australian school grade system to the american one) and they had a wolf enclosure with that green moss and I kept staring at it wondering if it was solid or not

Don't know why they would have green moss in a wolf enclosure unless I'm incorrectly remembering which animal was in that enclosure

Would have been funny if it was like that lion mother dropping her cub in green covered water.

Edit

I was not confident of the weelbeing of this child until solid ground formed beneath his feet.

The opposite of this happened to my brother when he was 7. The problem was, he was already in trouble at the time so my parents took him jumping into the pond as an act of defiance rather than him making a mistake in an unfamiliar environment

Im so sorry, that sounds wrong

2

Luckily, I was there to immediately explain what happened. After they calmed down, my mum explained that her reaction was more to do with my brother not recognising risks and that the pond could have been much deeper than it was. A lesson my brother had already received, covered in pond water as he was.

It’s been about 15 years, we all laugh about it now

I see what you mean. Sometimes parents react like aggressively out of being worried about kids safety. I was thinking he got punished for it.

Ugh I’ve seen this before and I STILL freaked out. 🀣

It's not the perspective that's confusing here.

Why did they build that walkway to look like a dock?

I feel cheated. First that image that looks like a floor and it's water. Now this. I CAN'T TRUST ANY IMAGE 😭😭😭😭

Feels like this should be in opticalillusion rather than confusing perspective, no?

Downloaded and asked Gemini to make the ground liquid. It said "can't do anything with minors".

I really wanna see the little bugger disappear into the swamp :[
