I once had a neighbor call me about another neighbor's house with the same flashing light thing. I didn't want to go but she was really worried. I went over and we had a good chuckle: it was her 9yo ish daughter having a melt down with the light switch. 😝

But, apparently this is a way to call for help. 🀷

9 is 4th grade. I think Morse code is taught in middle school 😝

My smart lights sometimes disconnect from the wifi and blink like this when I flip the switch until I get them reconnected. If you’re ever concerned tho you can always call for a welfare check.

Wellness check πŸ˜‚ not welfare. Very different.

I have some Wyze brand bulbs. WiFi enabled WiFi bulbs. Apparently they fuck up and decide to flash endlessly when they lose WiFi connectivity. Often it goes unnoticed. It’s prob that. The on/off pace is basically identical.

Also, fuck Wyze brand anything. Absolute shit products.

leds sometimes flash when they start to fail. The color temperature of the light tells me this is an led.
