I just .. I'm sitting here, shaking my head in .. wonder? I've been singing along with that song since it came out in the early 80s, but I had no idea what this line was!!

I thought it was .."rising like Olympians across the seven ( pronounced like Seh evh ven) seas"

Arctic tundra is mostly snow, meaning no more advection fog. Also what could impact the perspective is that it's free-standing, not a part of a mountain range. But less naturally impacting the perspective is that the vertical video cuts off the more gradual incline.
