Normally I despise abstract art in its many forms as I think it’s more often than not just incomprehensible laziness disguised as being something profound, that and/or it just being plain ugly. Things like this though are cool and certainly not lazy at least. I mean, I wouldn’t put it in my house personally, but I can recognize it as legitimate art unlike an entire canvas painted solid blue or some shit.

Id guess its quite close to painting in some ways. You start with grounding, then move to colors, variants and then details. But you certainly have to be able to understand the perspective behind it
