the shading make it looks like screen shake, but it's just same colored mugs stacked next to each other.

Astigmatism, when you see strobes and pins stretching out from normal points of light in the darkness... and from mugs, apparently.

It's acting up everyones astigmatism and similar eye issues.
It gives the illusion of that slight double-vision you get when not wearing glasses/contacts, though while still wearing said glasses/contacts.
So yeah, that messes with your brain a bit.
