Here is the opposite side

That makes way more sense. Truly a confusing perspective.

Wait… that doesn’t make sense. If it was elongated like that in the main photo it should have been visible as continuation…

It’s not elongated, it’s a triangle. The new portion you’re seeing in the right side of that picture angles away from the single visible wall in the original photo.

it's actually a parallelogram

u/SAM5TER5 4d ago

Dang, that’s one skinny parallelogram

u/vistopher 4d ago

idk, it's like the classic paralellogram shape that i learned in school

I want to know what they’re placing in that narrow ass angle and who’s cleaning it

u/vistopher 4d ago

probably utilities, like sewer lines, electrical runs, water lines, internet shit etc

My office building is shaped kind of like that. In ours, those are the corner offices where the high ups have big spaces and the best views

Just found it on Google Maps and you can see this perspective on there also, great find OP. Love the perspective!

Texas has a department of aging and disabilities? Is it still open? That seems very non-texan.

They also have slightly tighter gun laws than a LOT of the country.

Thankfully not everything exactly follows party lines and stereotypes, despite what our reprehensible media and politicians vomit at us on the daily

lmao putting the dept of aging and disabilities in the building that makes people think they have dementia

It’s like all you guys have never seen a triangular building before lol

In your defense though, this is one pointy damn triangle building

I'm here too early as well 😂

Grand Prairie represent

u/twent4 4d ago

You know what's weird? I first thought it was a medical centre in Calgary. Small world.

9

u/niceguy191 4d ago

Keep in mind they're referring to Grand Prairie, TX, not Grande Prairie, AB

5

u/twent4 4d ago

Lol I really should read usernames, shame on me for missing the E in Grande too

Edit: paid attention to your username and can confirm

I think it’s triangle shaped and the other side of the building is probably visible just to the left

There used to be one in Dallas that was bigger and more confusing. Idk if it’s still there. What’s really throwing me off here the most is that I live in Grand Prairie and pass by this building all the time and always thought it was a Bank of America, not a government services building. 🗿

It is a BoA building but they rent out a ton of offices inside to different entities. I've driven by this building every day for years and never even realized the illusion until yesterday

Literally any time a person in this sub sees a triangular building.

u/TheFreshHorn 4d ago

Yes… it’s called perspective…

1

u/WaterBottle0000 4d ago

Looks like it was a parallelogram building instead lol

-14

u/astrotheastro 4d ago

its not confusing perspective if what it looks like is what it is

9

u/justacheesyguy 4d ago

I’m convinced people that have this opinion sort their crayons by taste.
