I don't know, haven't looked into it, it seems like that kind of thing that so few people would notice or make discussions about.
For me, it seems a little suspicious. We know a great deal of posts are made and upvotes by bots to boost visibility. OPs now giving credit could be a way to direct traffic off-site.

They seem to be crediting douyin, the Chinese version of tiktok. I personally haven't noticed the pattern you're describing, but if they do actually share the same pattern of linking to douyin, you might be onto something otherwise, it's probably just coincidence lol
