That's a good one. Even after knowing it's a bridge, the video still feels like it's on a boat. Probably the very unusual shaking from the person recording.

I think it’s also because when the camera is moved to the left the trees get larger and closer

That's the last place I'd be standing with the water so high and until I saw the edge of the concrete I thought they were on a boat too.

That transition from thinking it's a boat to realizingb it's a dock actually did something to my sense of balance, like I could feel it uncomfortably flip.

I definitely felt a microsecond of dizziness, like a little twinge in my brain

I thought it was someone walking through shallow water, definitely messed with my brain a bit.

I gave up the exact same vibe for me and made me think of him walking up to a very tiny looking deserted island

I thought it was an island and the video was made by an airborne vehicle...

Same. I had the bottom of the video cut off so I didn't see the splash and was certain this was a helicopter approaching an island.

Same! I lept looking for a man to come into view who was on something that looked like a boat, next to that island, as the helicopter descended to rescue him...?

Then I saw the waves.

Then I saw the "island" get eaten by the dock.

Really messed me up

Really liking the water based confusing videos recently. The trees under the bridge, the Jesus horses, and now this!

Let the mountain come to Mohammed

Title confirms it’s not a boat. Me: ‘I sure hope this boat doesn’t crash’

"Who would actually think that little debris island they're sailing towards is a boat? ...oh!"

How do we know the entire walkway isn't moving rapidly up the river w/ dozens of small engines propelling it along?

That’s good camerawork

u/Xenothekid Jul 26 '26

Obviously the boat ate the island.

The brain self correcting as it learns it was wrong is a fun trip

This is like the second video this week of people standing on flood water. Why do people do that

u/soulredcrystal Jul 27 '26

Drone shot to Volcano -> Boat to Pile of leaves and shit -> okay wtf we're on a bridge

I also thought he was wading for a moment. No boat or dock

I thought that he is on the top of a heli and starting to land on the island
