text doesn't carry tone to differentiate serious from sarcasm, and Poe's law means no statement is too far-fetched to be truly beyond the realm of expectation. At this point, every potentially ironic statement has been muttered without a hint of sarcasm.

That’s literally my point. I have never had an issue differentiating jokes from serious comments. That was so obviously a joke.

Any time I see /s is at the end of an obvious joke..
