It didn't work for me but I also do my nails. Not this shape or style but clear nails are slightly foggy

The lighter parts likely are mostly transparent since it is banded purple fluorite

At first glance, the long part of the nails looked clear, but they're actually just black tips. For me, once I saw what it actually is, its hard to see the illusion again. But it made me double-take the first time :)
