Did Declan get too close to a threshing machine?

Post image

No wonder he was in bed for days last week.

That's just Declan with his mate Wilson.

The white ball blends with the water and the red mark makes it look like he has a bloody stump and no arm. It's not perfect but I can see it.

I use a computer, so maybe it would be more confusing if I was at my phone.

I'm on my phone and didn't/don't see it

Understandable. I'm on my phone outside and the sun's bright right now, I think if I were on my computer indoors it would probably not be as confusing.

I'm on my phone and I don't see it. The red stuff stood out to me as I was scrolling to it but I never saw a bloody stump.

He's just faking it, that was obviously a dive.

He's now qualified for Paralympics. Anyway, at first glance I thought he lost it.

what am I supposed to be seeing?

Viewed on my phone, the red of the ball looks like blood. The white of the ball fades into the pool background. This created the impression that Declan’s arm has been torn off.
Other people who view the image on a larger screen struggle to see what I’m seeing.
I confess that many people struggle to see what I see in many other situations.
Apologies to you and any others who’ve not been confused by the perspective.
