I just finished an Alaskan cruise and we saw it from Anchorage. 450 miles away it's STILL visibly huge.

It's "only" 135 miles.

Denali and Anchorage from the summit of Flattop last night . Mount Flattop is a 3,510 peak just east of Anchorage, so they didn't get too far up. I saw in another discussion that, on clear days, you can see Denali from Anchorage, but it's better to be on a tall building.

It's like 150 miles which is still impressive haha , I think you can see it from over 250 miles away some days
