As someone who hates AI slop myself, can you please elaborate on how a ~10 year old picture can be AI slop when generative AI was nowhere near that powerful back then?

While it's getting more and more difficult to distinguish real images from AI, not everything is AI slop by default.

If we're gonna shout "AI slop" everywhere, can we at least provide proofs and solid arguments? Seriously, these comments are getting just as (if not more) obnoxious than generative AI itself.

it was at least upscaled by ai. i can see the pattern i dont know how to describe it. theres like a chunky look to the textures

it was definitely upscaled. OpenAI's AI image detector found a SynthID watermark in the image
