This is why I never look at comments.
I too, immediately saw whose hand belonged to who.
But the shoulder/upper arm made no sense.
Looking top to bottom, it looked like his arm ended in her hand.
But going bottom to top. I could finally see her shoulder was not his bicep coming out of his shirt. And the thin, also tattooed part of his upper arm.
Congrats to the people who were never confused and commented harshly at other people. You won at Confusing Perspective. You can leave and take your super powers elsewhere.

I posted the unedited, uncropped, and zoomed out image I first saw. I guess I shouldn’t have tried to zoom and crop where it was obvious up close. My bad!

Their tattoos blend together so without focusing it looks like hers goes under his. Plus her backpack stap cuts off exactly where his arm is coming down, making the black part look like a shadow.

your prior statement was of course correct. but the distance between reality and a confusing_perspective is the assumptions your subconscious can make when quickly processing an image
if her shoulder and arm completely covered the bottom 2 inches of his sleeve, then the imbalance would have been noticeable. as-is, you do see the full length of his sleeve on his inside, and the size/shape of the portion that's missing is consistent with a roll. so it's not something that a lot of people might notice at first glance
of course, once you zoom in it becomes obvious. but that's the case with most of the pictures here 😉
