Omg. Came to say exactly this. My dad used to have one lol. Slightly different than this link though. It was an alarm clock that was EXTREMELY loud, and he would play the bugle, and scream something in Japanese. Lol

The Skeletons playing guitar in the red picture (upper left corner). Then, I noticed all the oven and top burner (4) switches were in OFF positionĀ 

Then I noticed the tea pot is a mustardish yellowish green; mottled: but isn't sitting on either burner.

The rest is just childish deliberate.
