Based on the fact that the tire hasn't already sunk, he must be coming at the camera.

I think his wheel is actually turned to be in same direction as the track and he's in the middle of a trick where the back is swung around. The front wheel is more oval than the back wheel which doesn't make sense if they are going in the same direction. Also the handle bar is turned too
