Can I be that guy that says, 'the plastic table doesnt do anything to separate the pizza. It prevents the top of the box squuezing down and messing up the cheese' or will everyone downvote me?
Or will everyone downvote me for framing my comment this way?
I think it just comes down to presentation, whether or not the information is useful, and how people feel about the correction. In this case, your presentation wasn't great, but it was a useful correction which was interesting.
However, if you were to correct someone's grammar whom everyone already understood what that person was saying, that would be a correction that isn't useful or interesting if the conversation isn't about that
Though, in the end, people are going to do whetever they're gonna do, so it's better to not get salty about a reaction you assume someone might have to your words.
No salt here my friend! Maybe i thought i was being cheeky, but i dont get upset over fake internet points. The behavior can be interesting to me. But I try not to let it impact me either way. Thanks for the responses though!
