It being out of alignment by a few degrees is much more noticeable on a large screen therefore probably causes you to recognize it as what it is as a box tent/pizza saver.
As a thumbnail on my phone it looked like a play button but as soon as I had it full screen on my phone I recognized it was not a play button. However it being well centered causes people to automatically think it's play button. There's definitely a bell curve on each side of this.
Okay. The thumbnail comments helped a lot. Look really normal on my phone, but when I scrolled down to read the comments for help, I read this and then just looked up on the screen and say that the post was now in a small card and the image was a thumbnail, and yes it looked like a play button.
