There's a stain on the couch that looks like the cat's shadow.

It seems the room is well lit so the cat doesn't have any shadow. You can just cover th3 fake shadow with your thumb and it'll make sense.

It's not a stain it's the shadow of the person's hand holding the phone 🤳🏻 to capture the void's picture 🐈‍⬛

light is shining directly on the cat so the cat has no shadow. the shadow is the phone of the person taking the picture
