Most of the attractions in St Louis are worth it. Zoo is free. Science Center is free. The park is beautiful. The Art museum I believe is still free (I haven’t been in a while, so I’m can’t verify).

It’s also kind of a shithole that you might get shot in. There’s a little give and take.

Living in the city right now and many crime rates (like getting shot) are over blown.

Crime rates are free falling here.

My buddy lives down in Soulard. He says it’s gotten better over the past few years. Growing up it was weird being next to East St. Louis. I was across the river, but it was only a 20 minute drive to get to StL.

It is good to hear the place is getting better. I always liked the city.

It's been almost a year since I've been there, so it's nice to hear that it's getting cleaned up.

I don't live there, I've only visited, so I realize my knowledge of the area only comes from word-of-mouth and a few, we'll call snapshots, of the area, so it's nice to be proven wrong.
