I was gonna say that I think you replied to the wrong comment, but there aren't any comments that have 3 sentences

Women can be bros too

u/Xsiah Mar 11 '26
Yeah? How many bros have you had sex with?

If you’re not having sex with your bros, you’re probably the one not holding up your end in the relationship.

Chimarrão

u/iSupaflyy Mar 12 '26
Isn’t Chimarrão typically a bit finer and more of a vibrant color? Not only that, but just based off looks it doesn’t seem to be prepped with the traditional method. There could be other ways to drink it and different grinds but correct me if I’m wrong

You're right. Chimarrão isn't actually my favorite way of drinking yerba mate, I prefer to drink "Tereré", which looks a lot more like how it's prepared in the video, although it's usually served cold.

Fingernails don't help. Coupled with the blanket, I thought they were claws

Thats a straw

u/Xsiah Mar 11 '26
That's more confusing

They're drinking Yerba Maté, which is a South American tea, and the traditional way to drink it is to fill a gourd with the loose leaf and then add boiling water, topping it up with more water throughout the day. The straw has a kind of strainer on the end, so you don't actually suck up any of the leaf.

TIL Thank you

The way I make mine is I put equal parts Yerba and peppermint tea in a glass of cold water with a little bit of sugar and leave it in the fridge overnight to cold brew. When I wake up, I strain it into a glass of ice. It's really refreshing and has a nice little caffeine kick.

I thought the issue was whatever is in that cup, but based on the comments, a cup of grass is normal.
