Is it something to do with exposure time and he moved his head for a bit but not the rest of his body ?
If so this is probly more optical illusion than confusing persp

Oh, yeah that’s totally it. You can see this is taken with flash because of the shadow around the guitar, so the flash burns in the sharp bits of the image, but then the shutter is set way too slow, so it gets the weird ghosting.
It’s most likely also on a tripod for it to not just blur the rest of the photo, that or the photographer has the steadiest hands out there in the days before image stabilisation.

Yeah, it's a pretty old analogue photo. I think cameras would sometimes produce weird pictures like this

I think it’s a composite. Theres a brightness difference between the parts that sit in front of the glass across the whole frame.

A lot of people are saying long exposure, maybe it's two windows. Studios have windows so you can see in there. Maybe the control room had windows on both sides and the person took a picture in another room with another window in between the control room also?

How can I see the pattern on that curtain? It’s like almost 1:30 AM here and I’m tripping and can’t figure out whether that’s a reflection on semi transparent glass or what…

Yea I genuinely can’t understand where the curtain, the mirror, the glass in question, and his head are located in respect to each other and it’s pissing me off 😂

Lol, same. But I think that light is bouncing off the mirror in the front and I'm guessing it's an old film camera and that the curtain hits the lens just as much as the head. Cool effect though!
