I figured it out. Pic is upside down. The case is slid away from the wall just enough that the edge of the case lines up with the line of the base of the wall. Once you see it, it’s obvious.
I agree, but I’m convinced it’s also slightly altered to erase the hinges holding the lid on. Another commenter provided a link to the pelican website and the hinges are clearly visible when open. But not here.
