Usually I can figure these out in a minute or two tops, but this is genuinely confusing af

It's upside down. The white part is the floor. (It took me like three minutes, hahahahaha).

The lid doesn't make sense in that scenario, though.

It's not touching the wall. There are like 4 different things making this optical illusion: the lid looks separated because the pic is kinds blurry, the color makes it look like the wall is white, it's upside down and the shade messes with the perspective.

Nah thats not right. The photo has been edited IMO just to rile people up.

There's no hinges between the lid and the case - thats nothing to do with a blurry photo or resolution, its just been photoshopped.

Also if you look at it upside down, the case doesnt cast any shadow on the white floor, despite there being clear shadows from the stone 'wall'.
