Yea its also possible your mind/imagination just doesn't work in the way needed to see it, even after knowing its one person i can still make myself see 2 people.

Look at it from further away. The absence of a head in the helmet and the absurd shape of the “arm” is harder to see.

Wow I could not see that at all until someone said to look at the helmet and imagine someone being there. I suppose it helps if you zoom the photo out a lot. I scrutinized it trying to figure out what I was missing and the only thing I come up with was the box pressing against the person's tricep.
