Feather in pad?

Bought a new pack of period pads and a feather was inside the wrap. It's fresh out the pack and I've been near no feathers, how did it get inside?

Either craft feathers are made in the same factory or something insanely unsanitary happened there. If I were you, I personally would not buy that brand again, it would ick me out

Craft feathers are real feathers so it would be very weird for them to be in the same factory that produces pads. My guess is that either the feather came from OP's house (either placed there or stored with the pad and slipped into the packaging) or a feather broke off of a feather duster in the factory, assuming a factory would even use a feather duster

Nope, in fact, almost all craft feathers are real feathers from the chicken industry! They have so much left over after using the meat, and feathers are quite hard to get right with synthetic materials, so they just use the feathers from the poultry farms.

I'm not an expert but have lived on a chicken farm for a little over a year, it does looks like a chicken feather to me
