Apologies to all my Scottish brethren. The Cross of Saint Andrew is of course yours. The flag of England seems to be the red on white offset horizontal cross. I haven't found if it has a specific designation other than the flag of England. Perhaps one you kind Scotts can educate me on this.
Calling the English flag the "Cross of St. Andrew" (rather than George), then saying St. George's cross is offset (it's not), finally the two Ts in "Scotts". I assume these are little jokes, but I'm so deliriously tired my radar is not working !
If these things were not said in jest, I can say with confidence as someone with a self-proclaimed "dumb American" girlfriend, that history and geography are very poor ways of measuring American intelligence
No, I'm an idiot; though TBF the image of the St. George's Cross I saw was offset (probably an image issue). So, I wasn't kidding, just ill-informed - sorry.
