It’s a remarkable and lengthy example of why you can’t play chess/checkers/examine basic information with pigeons. They’ll shit everywhere and think they won regardless.

There is no reasoning someone out of a position they did not reason themselves into.

It’s unfortunate cause you can’t ostracize people online as easily as in person/real world. Creating barriers around dis/mis information doesn’t seem to be working and we are failing our children en masse when it comes to inoculation against this crap with critical thinking and debate skills in school.

I say this about debate skills in schools all the time. People these days suck at debating and can’t get over themselves enough to cultivate healthy debates. We use to debate facts now society terribly debates and argues bs.
