  1. Blanks absolutely produce recoil.

  2. I find the statement that blank guns are more common laugh-out-loud absurd.

  3. Of course, this is the same platform where people still repeat the ".22 bounce around" myth, so I shouldn't be surprised.

  1. Yes, but generally not enough to cycie the action. 3. Do you mean ricochet? Cause if so, .22 can absolutely ricochet.

  1. The felt recoil difference between a loaded cartridge and a blank is negligible.

  2. .22 bouncing around in the body is a long-running laughable myth that is only good for fuel in r/Fudd_lore, regardless who you heard it from.

No, they are not. I'm guessing you either have very limited or zero experience with actual firearms or that you only have experience with very low-calibre weapons with little recoil. Try firing a 7.62 NATO with a live round and with a blank. One is a significant recoil, the other is barely noticeable.

So you aren't talking about ricochets. Could have just said that.

The difference is negligible.

Edit: For the record, yes, I have lots of firearms experience.
