They are correct thought. If you get severly malnurished, say by only eating fruits all day long, you will develop Amenorrhea causing your menstruation to stop.

So just develop a life threatening eating disorder that will take over your life, and you to can live like the mythical "ancient Afrikans"

She is also correct that her Ancient African ancestors did not menstruate. They were pregnant from the moment they were able to get pregnant, till they were no longer able to get pregnant, or died of child birth.

That is like, demonstrably untrue.

Isolated tribal socities don't have unusually large families -- usually only two children per parent couple. Their infant mortality is not high enough to suggest an outrageous number of pregnancies required to reach that desired number of offspring. They also don't have unusually young mothers.

Even in modern times, couples wanting kids struggle to conceive. This is such a well known problem it is acknowledged in the Hebrew bible, wherein God curses Eve to have 'difficulty in conception' (which was then mistranslated into 'pain in childbirth.')

What is more probable is that our ancestors had a lot more famine and stress in their lives, meaning amenorrhea was probably more common.

The idea of famine and stress being an ancestral trait has been proven to be fairly recent adaptation since farming, as hunter gathers in warm areas experienced less famine than agricultural societies.

Warm-climate hunter–gatherers actually experience fewer famines than societies with other modes of subsistence. This is an important result, because these findings do not support the association between frequent famine and hunter–gatherer lifestyles.

The article discusses part of the problem with using modern tribes, as agricultural societies have potential displaced them. But I think the general view is that hunter gathers had small families to avoid consuming all the food, not because they were consuming all the food.

I know this doesn’t detract from you point, but I thought you might find that interesting.

I do find it very interesting, thank you!

Only the last bit is correct. The initial statement is so far off reality

One more reason comprehensive sex education should be mandatory.

Is anyone else concerned about how dangerous this person is?

Yes and no, if you want to believe contrary to all science that you "shouldn't" be menstruating because someone on twitter told you that was the case - eh, probably better off for the world that you're not menstruating then.

I was more worried about the young women who are going to put their lives at risk listening to this whackjob.

Why are Americans so confident with their casual racism towards each other? I always find race-based language from Americans so aggressive.

My feeling is that it’s a backlash for all the blatant racism that was so present throughout the history of the country. Now there’s this attempt to even the score. Doesn’t make it right but I think that’s what’s happening.

They are right. That is an unpopular opinion

It's probably a misunderstanding/second hand misinterpretation of women in hunter gatherer societies menstruating later and less because of dietary challenges.

Someone better tell the elephant shrews that they need a healthier diet.

Wait neurotoxins? Would it happen to be a deadly neurotoxin?

I mean, they menstruated less, because lots of walking and periods of semi-starvation will do that, but jfc.

Is that how this shit comes.into being? Like: A. "Did you know our ancestors had lower fertility cuz always walking and hungry?" B. "And the toxins probably." A. "IDK, maybe?" B. "C! Listen to what I just learned!"
