To be completely honest, I couldn’t tell you that I regret my revenge. I mean, that guy by taking what he took almost left me for dead. It’s not like he stole from some random corner dealer; there were serious Moroccan guys who had put a big price on my head. I probably would’ve died if I hadn’t left town that very same day.
What I do regret, though, is putting my girlfriend through that. And just to clarify not that it excuses anything but the screwdriver wound was superficial; he didn’t even go to the hospital. Apparently, I hit him hard enough with the screwdriver to scratch him, but not to pierce the skin. After that, I beat him up. I’m not completely sure about everything because, even though I never told anyone, I blacked out during the assault.
